Inti Launcher › Change app icons without shortcuts
Change app icons on Android without shortcuts
Most icon changer apps only add a shortcut with a new picture, leaving the original app in your drawer. A theme launcher changes the real icon of every app instead. Here is how it works with Inti Launcher.
Icon styles you can switch to in one tap

Shortcuts vs. a launcher
- Shortcut icon changers: add a second icon that opens the app; the original stays in the app drawer, notification dots may be missing and some add a small badge.
- Theme launcher: the home screen app itself draws every icon, on the home screen and in the app drawer, with notification dots, for apps installed later too.
Steps
- Install Inti Launcher and set it as your Home app (Settings › Apps › Default apps › Home app).
- Open Themes and pick a style.
- Preview it on your own home screen and tap Apply. Every icon changes at once.
- To change one app only, long-press its icon and choose a new shape, picture or name.
What about apps the theme did not draw?
Popular apps get hand-drawn icons from the theme. Any other app gets the closest matching icon from the theme with a small badge of the app’s own logo, so the home screen keeps one style and you still recognize every app.
Going back
Undo within 10 seconds, pick one of your last 20 themes, or switch your Home app back in Android settings. Your app layout is kept.
